Finishing Out the Interior on the Living Floors

March 2009

The wiring still posed a few problems. In the master bathroom had a situation where if you flipped the wall switch one way the center light came on, if you flipped it the other way, the wall sconces came on. So it was light either way. Aaron fiddled around with it and got it figured out. Most of the fixtures still have these cheap-o bulbs that came with them. The sconces in particular will get point-y bulbs eventually. I like the ones with a slight blue tint to offset the yellowness of incandescent.

Over the sink the chandelier was hanging off-center. Drove me crazy. I got Aaron to take a look to see if we could move it over a bit. He said no. Ceiling joists were in the way. So, I went to Lowe's and bought an abstract flexible track light to put over the sink in the master bath. This way you can't tell that the box is off-center. We moved the little chandelier fixture over to the center of room box. I had expected to hang some way cool light there in the future but the little hanging light is great. I plant to modify the little hanging beads, change then from amber to greens to match the sink.
