We have had some rather grey weather, and then it turned cold. My guys just wear jackets and work any day they can, including a lot of weekends. |

![]() We are now placing blocks on the top floor. It is going really fast. Ryan, Mike's partner, now operates the crane part of the time. |

Chilly days with clouds sometimes make nice sunsets. I can't wait to be able to sit out on the top deck and enjoy the sunsets in a few months. We had two or three days with a ton of rain. All the dried up gator ponds out in the wildlife reserve are probably full now. |

A good bit of time has been spent on cutting these column blocks for the porch lintels. These blocks will go on the porch to receive the long, strong lintel blocks that support the upper deck. |

Juan and Jose are still grouting the blocks using ladders. At some point we are going to need to rent a mechanical man-lift for them to grout the very top rows. |

The wind is finally out of the south, so that is a great sign. We are suppose to have warm weather, sunny and up to 70 degrees this weekend so I will be working on my concrete acid stain designs on the blocks. You can see the old faded windsock blowing straight out on the pole. |
