Second Course of DAC-ART on This Concrete Home

You can see that the slab is poured 8 inches up the height of the first course of blocks. The blocks are 20 and one quarter inches tall. The elevator shaft requires a hole in the slab, the equipment goes partially below slab level.

The machine you see is a Lull, it is cheap to rent but it doesn't turn. We used the Lull until we finished the sixth course. Then we rented a crane. The Lull was $1800 a month and the crane is $5000 a month! But this is a tall house, yours may not be so tall.
