We are close to being ready for the second (elevated) story floor to go in and we can now get an idea of what the view up there will be like. . 

We have been having very mild weather. Most days are balmy, breezy with a lot of humidity. The foggy mornings break-up and the sun shines thru an ethereal mist most of the day. Looking towards the Gulf of Mexico one sees a very Venetian like effect. With the winter sun so low in the sky, the daylight is very soft and few harsh shadows. 

We think we have found a concrete roof system
that will work with our house.

Sunsets up here above the tree tops are going to be pretty great !
