Boards for floor joists on second floor. Construction of a 3 story concrete house
It is December 18th. We are ready to pour another round of back-fill concrete into the interior of our blocks.

We are close to being ready for the second (elevated) story floor to go in and we can now get an idea of what the view up there will be like. .

Habitat of the Alabama beach mouse. We have been having very mild weather. Most days are balmy, breezy with a lot of humidity. The foggy mornings break-up and the sun shines thru an ethereal mist most of the day. Looking towards the Gulf of Mexico one sees a very Venetian like effect. With the winter sun so low in the sky, the daylight is very soft and few harsh shadows.

We think we have found a concrete roof system
that will work with our house.
